Another Wonderful Surprise by my dad! We got up extra early today. Our flight was at 6 so we had to get up before 4. I got up and right away I got a shower to wake myself up even more. We got all of our stuff ready and packed it in the car. Then, we headed out to the airport. When we got there we went to the Westjet ticked counter to get out tickets printed. After we did that, and dropped our luggage off, we headed to out gate. We stopped and got some breakfast first because we were starving. Then we had to rush to the gate to bored. When we got on it was still black out.

We taxied for about three minutes then we were already at the runway. We were at runway 17R. We were second in line, so once our turn was up we hauled out of there. The sky was a few different colors and the condensation above the wings were a nice affect.

Once that was over we just saw blue sky and clouds for the rest of the flight. Then we started our descent, we first passed through a layer of clouds, then a thin layer of another set, then we saw the ground. The ground was somewhat white from the snow that previously hit the ground. Well our landing was great and I think the Westjet pilots are really good. We taxied to the gate at Terminal 3 where all the inter-nation flights come in at.

We un-boarded and guess what happens next..... CUSTOMS, no surprise there. I think customs are the most boring place in the airport, you have to wait in line for them just to stamp your passport. We got passed that and headed to the bus area. We got "he Airport Express" to take us to the Westin Hotel right by the ACC (Air Canada Center).

First thing we do is get our room, then second, right when we get up there he goes to the bathroom. We dropped our stuff and headed right out on the town. I brought my skates so I could do some ice skating. We went to the rink right next to the Hotel. While at the skating rink, my dad wanted me to practice stopping. I'm not that well at doing this. But I practiced and practiced and I got a little better. After, we enjoyed Toronto what we could for the day.

Later I found out the real reason why we went there, to see the Toronto Maple Leafs play the New York Rangers.
I have to thank my dad for the wonderful seats. The first period was fine tied. Then in the 2nd and 3rd the leafs let
themselves go big time. Leafs lost 6-2. I don't thing Paul Maurice Will be happy about that. Well the leafs fans went
home sad and the ranger fans were as happy as can be.
