Entry:
One morning Jasper one of the resident cats stopped by for a visit. We feel somewhat fortunate because our new Canadians friends had a gift dropped off to them in the past 2 days. One gift was a live mouse and the 2nd a dead mouse. Austin bought home a lot of souvenirs, 2 big blue star fish, lots of shells. Dad caught an Emperor Angle fish, his grand prize. He had himself convinced that he would never catch one, but miraculously he did with Austin's help. He'll get 2 new cars for that!!! Dad was ready to leave now that he had his Prize. He even sent a postcard to Matt and Lourdes bragging about his catch. Then it happened!!!. D went down to the holding pen to check out his prize and wouldn't you know it, it was belly up. The curse of Lourdes followed him all the way to the Cook Islands. Then there is the ritual of the license plate. Dallas and Austin went up to the parking lot and got one off the car rental. It has become a tradition beginning with our honeymoon in the Cayman Islands. During one of the many evenings of entertaining himself, Austin was jumping on the bed and he did a summersault off the bed and landed on his back hitting his head on the tile floor. One bruises among many. Another Working Man Cuts!!! Austin remembers the octopus, starfish, airplanes seats, snorkeling with Dad. One morning, Austin and Dad were down at the holding pen and looking at the clams that they have in there brothel. Dallas could not understand how some of the clams have been eaten out and the shells empty when he had them inside a meshed bag over night. Suddenely, Austin went to pick up one of the clams and an octopus inked him. Jet blue ink came flowing out from the rocks by the bag, turning the water deep blue and purple. Now, the mystery of how the clams were eaten has surfaced. They captured the octopus, it was a small one about 10 inches long. Austin held it in his hand as it crawled over him, the sucker from it's arm's attaching to his small hand. He tried to skake it off, but it wouldn't budge. When he stuck his hand in the water, it flushed away with a little more ink. Dallas, therefore took the clams to another spot to store them. He also rememberd making a sand castle with a moat, the holes in the trays that were on the Air New Zealand 747 and wanted to know why they weren't on the United Airlines 737. Austin took a shower with Mom and Dad and wanted to get out to play. We stayed behind to enjoy the warm water and Austin said, "No Playing In The Shower Or I'll Spank You Both !!!!
