Eating these large buffet breakfast is not the way to live and be healthy. Once again we ate scrambled eggs, toast, bacon/sausage, cereal, pastry, juice...Little Austin has a big appetite. We will be going to the ball game today, lucky for us when we arrived into the Sky Dome they were retracting the roof. Only 2/3 of the roof actually moves. It is shaped like a semi circle and the two halves move in opposite direction when they are closed. About 1/3 of the roof is a stationary roof structure. It was a beautiful day for the game. Glad we bought sweatshirts with us as we were all ways in the shade and it was cool, about 55 or so. It was not a very good weekend for the Blue Jays as they lost all 3 games against the Cleveland Indians. Baseball is fine to watch at home but sitting in those seats for 3 hours was not fun. Our butts hurt.... Austin had cheese nacho's, I had a sausage dog which I only ate 3 bites and that was it. It was free camera day so we all got these disposable camera's to take pictures of the game. After the game we bought Austin a Toronto Blue Jay's t shirt. The Red Sox are due in town tonight and open a 4 game series here. Once again the schedule won't allow us to see them play. We got used to sitting in the restaurant and watching the game.
So, the Blue Jays lost 3-1 today. We headed out to dinner at Wayne Gresky restaurant, which was much like the Hard Rock Cafe, same menu and things. Austin insisted on having hot wings. Once again the service was realy poor. Sharon and I actually had to send our dinner back because it was cold. Rather than making new plates for us, they just heated what was originally on the plate. Austin enjoyed his wings, as it was all over his face, hands, chin. I actually had to take him into the bathroom to clean uo he was such a mess!! We headed back to the hotel and had desert in the Bistro and watched the clean up crew clean the Sky Dome. It consisted of about 10 men with blowers blowing all the papers into the aisle and baggers picking up the trash. What a job !! The roof has been closed for the night, wondering we if we expecting rain. Austin played Play Station on the hotel TV and then we all closed our eyes for the night.
